An Update on My Life I Guess

So, I guess it's been a while since I last posted. Good news, I'm not dead, literally. Bad news, I'm probably dead, metaphorically.

Things I've gotten myself into in the past two years:

  1. I was in pit orchestra for the school's production of Beauty and the Beast last year.
  2. I am in pit orchestra for the school's production of Fiddler on the Roof this year.
  3. I failed precal last semester
  4. I'm barely passing precal and apush this semester.
  5. I started listening to Welcome to Night Vale
  6. I met Zachary Quinto at Wizard World Chicago in my Tumblr cosplay and he called me the "Tumblr Bitch" and it was glorious.
  7. I also met James and Oliver Phelps at WWC last year.
  8. And I met John Barrowman for the second time.
  9. I was second chair cello in orchestra last semester, but then this girl i hate replaced me and now im third.
  10. I turned 17.
yeah.

It's the End of the World as We Know It

It's the day we've all been waiting for. THE END! OF! THE WORLD MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

I've heard several reports from New Zealand saying that they've all died. Good news, there's wifi in Hell and Lucifer looks like Mark Pellegrino!

Reports from Australia state that kangaroos are burning down the cities and drop bears are falling from the sky.

I've no idea what's happening in Japan.

I will try to keep you, the readers, updated as the world perishes one time zone at a time.

BREAKING NEWS: New Zealanders have said that the world didn't end.

Australia reports that kangaroos haven't burned down the cities and drop bears have yet to rain down upon them. They were just hallucinations caused by the heat of the Australian summer.

I still have no clue about Japan though.

Rest easy, folks. We'll live to see another day.

Who are my sources, you cry? A journalist never reveals their sources.
(They were sarcastic text posts from tumblr shhh don't tell the Facebook Peasants)

Well That Was Tedious...

Ah, school is finally over. Well school was over on the 24th... but now I'm blogging about how school is over. It's like 1:00 in the morning so don't expect this post to be xX~*quality*~Xx. But I'm really happy school is over. Nine months of prison finally free(for three months)! Now I can stay up late and sleep late and do summery things. I'm glad all my finals are done; they were all easy. Now is the time for r&r. Cheese Face out.

iBlog

I got a new iPod touch using money I earned from babysitting and from money I got from my recently past birthday. I am enjoying it a lot. It's also spring break which explains why I'm blogging at 2:14 in the morning...

Yeah. I thought this Post was going to have a really exciting plot or even just be exciting to read.

*Note to readers: don't let Cheese Face near the internet late at night.*

Well I'm off to bed. Goodnight.

Les Miserables is Making Me *le Miserable

In English, we are reading Les Miserables. And we're aren't watching the musical either. Not that I've seen the musical, it's just that it'd be easier to follow than the book. THE BOOK THAT CUTS LIKE A GIANT BUNCH OUT OF FANTINE!

As you can see, I am *le miserable. I don't like the book because it's confusing and boring and it's ugh.

And on a somewhat related note, I am *le miserable because I found out today that the stitches on my right index finger didn't heal together, so now I may need plastic surgery.

A Rather Exciting Way to End a Rather Boring Sunday

Hello, people of the internet. I, Cheese Face, am here to bring you comedy from a not-so comedic travesty.

On Sunday, it was rather quiet. I was upstairs watching TV, hanging up paintings, and working on homework. After that I decided to come downstairs and play on the computer. I logged into Tumblr and found a post that made me giggle. It was about Colonel Sanders and how his tie makes it look like he has a big head and a small body. I called my brother into the kitchen to see and he said the grammar was wrong(for it said "Big head, small body. You can never unsee it"). I said no it was correct, blah, blah, blah. He was sharpening his pocketknife. The next thing I remember is he hit me, I hit him back and try to go back to the computer, but my brother hits me again harder and all I can remember is seeing blood and screaming.

Then I'm at the hospital, crying hysterically and clutching my hand in some paper towels from my house. Then I'm led into a room and I'm waiting for the PA dude to some stitch me up. My mom and I then start cracking Sherlock and Doctor Who jokes to pass the time and to get me to calm down. Then the PA dude comes in and says he has to numb my fingers with stuff and he needs to give me a few shots. I'm like, "Oh, no, not needles. I freaking hate needles." He gives me the shots and I scream. Loud. So loud my dad said he could hear me from the waiting room.

About 10-15 more minutes of Wholock (Sherlock and Doctor Who) jokes later, they stitch me up. And then I have to wait about 10 more minutes for them to clean me up and bandage me.

I now have 4 or 5 stiches in my index finder, 2-3 stitches on my middle finger, and a small cut on the back of my index finger.

And I can barely write, let alone type. Typing John Watson style, one letter at a time.

New Semester, New Teachers

'Tis the beginning of a new semester. And with that, brings changes in my schedule. I have new teachers, as well as a few teachers from last semester. I give you:

A Guide to Cheese Face's Teachers

Mr. Casper: Not his real name, but his name sounds like Casper the Friendly Ghost. He is pretty cool. He's my geoscience teacher.

Schwartzie: Previously known as "Captain", until I discovered upperclassmen in orchestra already had an "affectionate pet name" for him.

Ms. C: My new English teacher! She's much, much better than my teacher last semester. She's nice, and her voice doesn't get on my nerves. My last English teacher, when we were doing Romeo and Juliet, would often mispronounce the word 'soliloquy' by saying 'soliquy'. I was like, "Seriously, you've done this dozens of times, you shouldn't mispronounce 'soliloquy'. There's another syllable!" This last teacher is the won I wrote the crackfic for.

Magister: Previously known as "Mr. Awesome McCoolname" until I learned the Latin word for teacher or master is 'magister'.

Mr. M.: He is my computer apps teacher. He's nice, but he's kind of nerdy, which isn't bad. He's also young enough to have a junior brother going to my school.

Mrs. D.: She's my geography teacher. She's nice and really funny. I like her.

Mrs. Smurphy: She's my geometry teacher. She's nice, but her voice gets on my nerves after a little while, kind of like the Smurfs. Hence why I call her 'Smurphy'.

Happy New Year's!

Happy New Year's, guys! It's been a great year. Now we only have one more year to live! I'm kidding, I don't really think the world is going to end in 2012, but you never know.

And on a completely unrelated note, Sherlock returns tomorrow. The Sherlock fandom has been waiting over two years since the airing of the last episode. Unfortunately, it airs in the UK, and not here in the US, but we have the INTERNET. YAY, LIVESTREAM! Just to let you know, I've lost all sanity because of this fandom.
